Frank immigrated to the US in 1911 but left Poland around 1906. He was part of revolutionist group attempting to kill Russian governor in Warsaw (most likely Gieorgi Skałon or Nikołaj Wonlarski), that was under Russian occupation at that time. They did not suceed and had to leave the coutry to avoid prosecution. His US immigration papers state that his last permanent residence place was Toronto, Canada. In 1917 on the WWI draft card it states he was in Washington. In WWII registration forms he resides in Detroit. He returned to Poland in 1948 hoping to stay but situation in Warsaw was not as he expected. His brother Leon has passed away already and his nephew Stanisław Lucydy Dolewski got murdred by communist government. Frank decided to go back to the USA. He got married for the second time with Aniela and left Poland around 29/06/1948. His nephew Wacek Dolewski, and great nephew Jacek Dolewski accompanied him to the port of Gdynia where Frank boarded SS Batory. His new wife did not join him in the USA until 10 years later in 1958. Frank and Aniela are burried in the same grave at the Good Hart cemetery, Emmet, Michigan, USA. Frank and Julia did not have any children according to divorce record. Alternative surname spelling: Dolowski.
