Auschwitz survivor (prisoner # 2189) - arrested by Germans in Warsaw when he was only 17 years old. His older brother tried to save him and was taken to Auschwitz as well. Arrived at the camp 15/08/1940. After 9 months in the camp his mother managed to get him out, he was very ill with typhus.

Godparents: Wacław Konarzewski & Helena Maj?
Witnesses: Wacław Konarzewski (przemysłowiec) and Zygmunt Smogorzewski (radca legacyjny ministerstwa spraw zagranicznych).

His father was not present at the time his birth was registered. He was still in exhile in Baku.
